Afuera Athens
Dimosthenous 298 & Evripidou 46, Kallithea, Athens
Monday to Friday 08:30–01:00 · Saturday and Sunday 08:30–02:00
Afuera Athens is an all-day bar restaurant in Kallithea, on the corner of Dimosthenous and Evripidou, a short walk from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center. It is a partner venue of ours in Athens.
They describe their own day simply: coffee in the morning, wine at night, comfort food in between. The doors open at half past eight and stay open until one in the morning on weekdays, two at the weekend.
That length of day is what makes the partnership useful to a programme rather than merely pleasant. The Cultural Center is a real Athens stop, and a venue that works at nine in the morning and at nine at night means a group's first coffee and its last table can be the same address — one fewer transfer in the plan, one fewer thing to go wrong.
What is there
- Kallithea — Dimosthenous 298 & Evripidou 46, walking distance from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center
- Open from 08:30 — until 01:00 Monday to Friday, 02:00 Saturday and Sunday
- Coffee and brunch through the morning, lunch and snacks, wine and cocktails in the evening
- A seasonal menu out of their own kitchen — ask them, or ask us and we will ask them
If you want an Athens table at Afuera inside a programme — a welcome evening, a free morning with somewhere to put people, a last night that does not need a coach — say so in your brief and we will arrange it with them. Everything else about the venue is theirs to tell you.
